For our 3rd tournament we raced to 20 pts and the finals was a race to 25 pts. A 40 second shot clock was added. Our first live stream event too was on rumble. We have a new player, Mike, thanks for participating.
The players battled long. Table 1 Shot of the day goes to Mike with a beautiful double-the-rail on the short rail. The balls were tight but he executed nicely. Good job!
The group ended with a break-n-run shoot out, with Keet edging out that one.
Jon also performed well with a close win against Darryl and knocking out Cory, the two previous tournament winners. Making it to the finals for a second time. Table 2 shot of the Day goes to Darryl with a long rail double-the-rail shot with the bridge.
In the final, with Keet's slow start, Jon pulled ahead right away. Surviving the barrage, Keet slowly starting picking up some momentum. At 13-13 the players took a 5 minute break. As the match continued, Keet kept marching on to pull out the win, 25-16.
Its not how you start, its how you finish.
Our 3rd tournament was a success. We picked up a new player. And another player wants to play next month. Unfortunately the final match video, isn't available. The video was cut-off. Special mention to WM for the generous sponsorship. -k.
