Shaft Wood Pin Conversion

Hanbat Wood Pin to Radial Joint

DEC 08 2024

This is shaft converted for AC. He has a custom pool cue with .844 diameter butt.

Hanbat carom wood pin shaft to radial, .877 diameter. Tested on the butt, shaft has no wobble screwing on, nice snug fit screwing down. Mates perfectly, the over hang is perfectly round and even. Tested for about 30 miuntes with no issues.

Made the shaft protector, .847 diameter, as a guide. Tested on his pool cue shaft and everything fits perfectly.

Now, the question. Take down the shaft diameter? It was mentioned that if the diameter is taken down, the collar would be to thin and might 'explode' on a hard hit. I'll leave it up to AC to decide.
